Response of quizalofop-resistant rice to sequential quizalofop applications under differential environmental conditions

چکیده
Abstract Quizalofop-resistant rice allows for over-the-top applications of quizalofop, a herbicide that inhibits acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase. However, previous reports have indicated quizalofop applied postemergence may cause significant injury to quizalofop-resistant rice. Therefore, field experiments were conducted evaluate the response cultivars across different planting dates. Under controlled conditions, effects soil moisture content, air temperature, and light intensity on sensitivity investigated. In date experiment, more than 11 percentage points was observed early-planted compared with late-planted at 5-leaf stage, higher under saturated conditions. labeled rate caused ≤16% reduction in yield regardless environment. exhibited by least 25 when maintained 90% or 100% capacity because ‘PVL01’, ‘PVL02’, ‘RTv7231 MA’ ≥42%, 30%, ≥54% injury, respectively, ≤10%, ≤5%, ≤22% 40% 50% capacity, pooled over rating timing. Greater ranging from 18% 31% grown low (600 µmol m −2 s −1 ) 5% 14% high (1,150 ). The persisted 7 28 d after stage application (DAFT), averaged temperatures (20/15 C 30/25 day/night, respectively). At DAFT, greater (by 5 21 points) cultivars; PVL01, PVL02, RTv7231 MA 33%, 9%, 58% 20/15 temperature conditions 13%, 4%, 37% day/night intensities. Overall, is likely risk if it cool, cloudy, moist

Enantioselective Metabolism of Quizalofop-Ethyl in Rat
The pharmacokinetic and distribution of the enantiomers of quizalofop-ethyl and its metabolite quizalofop-acid were studied in Sprague-Dawley male rats. The two pairs of enantiomers were determined using a validated chiral high-performance liquid chromatography method. Animals were administered quizalofop-ethyl at 10 mg kg(-1) orally and intravenously. It was found high concentration of quizalo...
متن کاملPurification and properties of a novel quizalofop-p-ethyl-hydrolyzing esterase involved in quizalofop-p-ethyl degradation by Pseudomonas sp. J-2
Quizalofop-p-ethyl (QPE) is a post-emergence herbicide that effectively controls grass weeds and is often detected in the environment. However, the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of QPE degradation in the environment remains unclear. In this study, a highly effective QPE-degrading bacterial strain J-2 was isolated from acclimated activated sludge and identified as a Pseudomonas sp., conta...
متن کاملPhysiological Response of Quinoa to Nitrogen Application under Salinity Conditions
Salinity stress is one of the major abiotic stresses which injures plants by limited water absorption and nutrient imbalance and limits crop growth. In order to study the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on physiological traits of quinoa at high salt concentrations, a greenhouse experiment was conducted in a factorial arrangement based on a randomized complete block with three replications in 2019...
متن کاملThe Effects of Salicylic Acid on Helianthus annuus L. Exposed to Quizalofop-P-Ethyl
Herbicides adversely affect both the target plant and its environment. In this study, Helianthus annuus L. cv. “Oliva CL” was treated post-emergence with 0.3 to 3.1 mM quizalofop-p-ethyl. The peroxidase activity (POD), ascorbate peroxidase activity (APX), lipid peroxidation, pigment system and total phenolic content were then determined on the 1st, 5th, 10th and 15th days following treatment. T...
متن کاملMilled Rice Breakage Due to Environmental Conditions
Cereal Chem. 75(1):149–152 Milled, long-grain rice was exposed to air at temperatures (T) of 20, 30, and 40°C, and relative humidities (RH) ranging from 25 to 85%. The kernels then were subjected to a breakage test to determine the extent of damage that occurred during each exposure condition. Increasing air T levels produced higher amounts of broken kernels across the RH range. Milled rice at ...
